Drake Christmas

Okay, so these are the long-awaited Christmas pictures. We spent the holiday week in IL with my family and a foot of snow. Naturally, sledding in my parents' backyard occurred.

As any parent knows, dressing/undressing for winter play takes longer than any actual playing...

Although both boys enjoyed the snow, Micah especially loved sledding that day. The only time he fussed was at the bottom of the hill. As soon as we'd trek back up the hill, he'd be back to having a great time. :)

Isaac, of course, preferred throwing snow at Micah's face...
Every morning began with Isaac asking about "You-you." I've called my sister Lindsay "Lou" for most of our lives. "You-you" translates to "Aunt Lou-Lou" in Isaac-speak. In related topics, Isaac picked up a Southern accent in northern Illinois. He now asks for "hale-up" when he needs help. Hmm....
