Cats

I was looking through pictures from my Mom's visit back in February, and I ran across this one of Isaac and me. His favorite activity lately is reading (and rereading and rereading) books. He's been interested in books for a long time of course, but it's all he wants to do right now.

As you can see, this book had a picture of a kitten. It's been very popular again the past two days because we now have four kittens. Yes, you read that correctly. The lady who hates cats with a passion (what's the point of a pet that avoids people???) has cats.

Okay, we don't really have the cats. A stray decided to have her litter in our backyard. And I'm not completely heartless. I spoke with the animal shelter, and Chad will set the traps to capture the mom and kittens. They will hopefully get their shots and be adopted by families who actually want them. Meanwhile, my son is enamored by the kitties and constantly wants to go look at them.
